The Rum diary is the Jonny Depp's upcoming movie. After the  movie "Tourist" this will be Depp's following movie. In this movie Johnny Depp is playing a role named Paul Kemp who is a freelance journalist and travels lots of places. As we all know that Johnny Depp always try to do something different through his characters like  in Sweeney Todd a psycho barber, half mad pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean, bank robber in the Public Enemies etc. So the expectation is to get something new from the upcoming movie "The Rum Diary". Let see what will he do as a lawyer. The movie is  written and directed by Bruce Robinson

Besides Johnny Depp some other famous actors like Giovanni Ribisi & Amber Heard are also in the movie. Budget is estimated around $45,000,000 for this movie & filming began in Puerto Rico in March 2009. The story of the movie is taken from the novel The Rum diary written by Hunter S. Thompson (1959). Hope this movie will set a good  position in Box office.

Another Depp's movie Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides is going to be released in this year. Most probably  on 20 May 2011 the movie will be released worldwide. Captain Jack Sparrow is coming again to entertain people with his unusual moves, style of dialogue.

Jack Sparrow has become a famous character since first movie of Pirates of the Caribbean series (The curse of the Black Pearl) was released. But this time there is no Gore Verbinski or Keira Knightley or Orlando Bloom. And some new faces are coming through this movie like Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Gemma Ward, Ian McShane etc. This  time movie is directed by Rob Marshall and written by Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio. Here in this movie Captain  Jack Sparrow is searching for the Fountain of Youth  and confronting the pirate Blackberd and a new role Angelica is played by  beautiful Spanish actress Penelope Cruz who is Blackbeard’s daughter and Captain Sparrow’s love interest.

Actually Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure. And, hope the Depp-Penelope chemistry works well. In September 2008 the film was first announced but work started in June 2010.  And it's a big budget movie & the budget is around $200 million. Fans of Pirates of the Caribbean series  would be excited to know that this film will be the first Pirates of the Caribbean film to be released in 3D.

Johnny Depp has given voice to a funny character Rango in this animated movie. Some other re-known actors like Isla Fisher, Timothy Olyphant etc have also given voice in this movie.  Rango is directed & produced by Gore Verbinski. Story is written by Gore Verbinski, John Logan & James Byrkit. Here in this movie the character Rango is a pet chameleon who always think himself a hero & lives in terrarium. Lots of  actions & adventures are there in this movie. Most probably Rango will be released on March 04, 2011.
